Sub Marine Services Ltd is an independent company established in 1980 with its operational base, workshop, stores, offices and vessel berths based within the Falmouth Docks complex of A & P (Falmouth) Ltd in Cornwall, UK, situated at the entrance to the English Channel.

As a multi-disciplined company SMS has a core market in specialist underwater engineering, repair and maintenance but since establishment the company has diversified. Our scope has broadened and now encompasses most types of marine based operations including underwater ship repair, ship husbandry, classification society approved in-water survey, coastal marine survey and civil engineering work, dredging and piling. Additionally, our floating plant fleet includes tugs, workboats, work barges, pontoons, floating cranes and associated general marine equipment.

Over a period of several years, SMS has established an excellent working relationship with the shipyard at Falmouth and built up a network of dependable clients and contracts within the marine industry and the Ministry of Defence.

As a long-standing dockyard service supplier, we are also well positioned to be of valued service to independent outside contractors working on projects in the Falmouth area, as well as throughout the U.K. and Europe.
